Jeg har en lavintensitetshobby i at følge med i hvad Area Man går og laver (på inspiration fra The Onion). I dag var der jackpot i The Kalamazoo Gazette, der udgives i Kalamazoo, Michigan. Area Man har simpelthen vundet en biografbillet!
Det er journalistik på højeste plan, som The Onion simpelthen ikke kunne have gjort bedre:

About three weeks ago, Martin, 35, entered the ``Spin the Web'' contest at www.slurpee.com, a site ran by 7-Eleven Inc. The grand prize was an all-expense paid trip to New York City for the premiere of the sure-fire blockbuster flick starring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. Once a day for about a week, he logged on and entered to win. His persistence paid off. The prize includes their flight, hotel, $500 spending money and sedan service.
