Death and taxesThe RIAA
The RIAA must be making tons of money from the blanket lawsuits since they insist on suing dead people. A reasonable argument for the RIAA lawsuits, if one existed, would go along the lines "We need to establish in the public mind the idea that copying music has risks and consequences". But there's no deterrent here - the people they are gouging this time around, even by the very relaxed RIAA standards, did nothing wrong. We're back to pure protection racket.
